Billy Johnson

Amazing how all the Johnsons look so much alike. I remember Uncle Billy used to entertain us playing the banjo. So many great musicians from the Johnson family.....Dolly's kids did not inherit such talents, even though she sent me to piano lessons for years. Neither of my girls, Jenn and Alison, inherited any musical skills.
Never stopped us from enjoying a good 'do' though:)

  1. Both of my children James and Adam are learning the piano.I have taught James age 8 to play a duet that my dad Tom taught. I know my cousin Shona ODonnell( Alan ODonnells Daughter) plays this duet. She is a good pianist.
I really enjoy playing the piano also.
My Dad has told me about Martha and her musical talent. I have a distant memory of visiting her in her bungalow and her playing whilst tap dancing on a board from behind the sofa

  2. Martha used to ask me to sing the latest 'tune' so that she could learn the chords. I distinctly remember aged 11 singing Tom Jones "It's not unusual" which she picked up in flash!!!
I remember dragging my son Steve (by his hair) to paino lessons which he hated I would never have believed he would now be playing Guitar, Bass and singing in a band.
